PROFESSIONAL SOMMELIER QUALIFICATION COURSE

Since 1965, the Italian Sommelier Association has organized Sommelier Training Courses throughout Italy and Europe. The training program offers a professional learning experience and knowledge on the fascinating world of wine.

The classes will be coordinated by the Professional Sommelier Alessandro Sbrendola, one of the most renowned authorities in the United States and professional teachers from Italy. 

The certificate Course “Sommelier” requires no previous wine knowledge. 

It is an opportunity for people curios about the glorious world of wine and to those whose familiarity lacks true breadth. 

The course will include tasting of more than 100 of the finest Italian wines and spirits.

 

LOS ANGELES

Courses are held in Los Angeles and intended Monday to Saturday, the duration of each lesson is about 3 hours.

  • First level (2 weeks) - $ 1000 + $ 125 enrollment fee

  • First Level:

$ 200 - Upon enrollment

$ 300 - 3 weeks prior beginning of the first class

$ 500 + $125 - one week prior the beginning of the first class 

 

  • Full Course:

$ 500 - Upon enrollment

$ 1100 - 3 weeks prior beginning of the first class

$ 1500 - one week prior the beginning of the first class 

   

Cancellation of enrollment can be made upon written notice before 1 month prior the beginning of the classes.

 If the cancellation is made less than a month before the beginning of the class, the Italian Sommelier Association reserves the right to retain the first deposit ($200 for first level - $ 500 for full course)

 We reserve the right to cancel the class 20 days before the starting date with a full refund.
